About Me

I pursued Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Toronto at Scarborough specializing in Software Engineering. My interests include backend software development and cyber security. I enjoy solving challenges and critical thinking. As a firm believer of continuous learning, I proactively learn new technologies and methologoeis of development. Through academic studies and internships, I have acquired advance knowledge and experience in programming using languages such as Java, Python and C. I am also experienced in content management system, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. During my internship, I assisted in training and testing of web-apps, maintenance of applications, middleware operations. And created tools to automate manual processes such as Weblogic domain replication. Beside techy things, I enjoy gardening and cooking.

Stove: Yelp roulette

Stove is a web-based Yelp roulette, which uses Yelp API to suggests restaurant based on user location or cuisine. It does not repeat suggestion for a user. Further, It allows user to view suggestion history. It developed using MEAN stack.

Exoplanet Synchronizer

Created a synchronizer for Open Exoplanet Catalogue (OEC) that synchronization between OEC with different catalogues such Nasa Exoplanet Archive and exoplanet.eu. It fetches any exoplanet entry and sends to OEC as XML file for merging.

Matplotlib Contribution

Matplotlib is open source a Python 2D plotting library which produces publication quality figures in a variety of hardcopy formats and interactive environments across platforms. Contribution through fixing bugs and implementing new features.
